Indonesia to offer 50 blocks this year

Jakarta-Indonesia plans to offer 50 blocks this year in an effort to boost the country's oil and gas output, Energy and Mines Minister Darwin Zahedy Saleh said in a parliamentary hearing January 19. The offer will comprise 40 oil and gas blocks, and 10 coalbed methane blocks, and will take place in the first half of 2011.
