Vietnam's PV Oil aims to increase sales of E5 gasohol

Hanoi-Vietnam's PV Oil plans to sell as much as 50,000 cubic meters of E5 gasohol this year to the domestic market, a company official said June 23. Since Vietnam introduced trial sales of E5 gasohol-gasoline with 5% ethanol-in August 2010 in some cities, the company has sold only 8,000 cu m of the product, the official said, declining to provide year-to-date sales volumes. PV Oil, the marketing and trading subsidiary of state-owned PetroVietnam, is the leading biofuel supplier in the country.
