Riyadh-Saudi Arabia's oil minister Ali Naimi said November 21 the OPEC kingpin produced 9.362 million b/d of crude oil in October and added he believed oil markets were in balance with no signs of a slowdown in Chinese crude liftings. "Our production in October was 9.362 million b/d. This is supply. This is the exact num ber," he told Platts in an interview in Riyadh. Asked whether he believed there was a need to alter OPEC's production when ministers meet in Vienna on December 14, Naimi said that he would wait to see the group's recommendations.
