Russia to supply LNG and electricity to Japan: Putin

Tokyo-Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has told his Japanese counterpart Yoshihiko Noda Moscow hopes to advance energy cooperation with Tokyo, including LNG and possibly electricity supplies to the gasand powerhungry nation, according to Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs. There is no power cable as yet linking the two countries.
