Singapore-The first day of June marked the official start of China's annual fishing ban period in the Yellow and Bohai seas, which should ease the tightness of diesel supplies in the surrounding region, industry sources said. The Yellow Sea is the name given to the northern part of the East China Sea between China and the Korean Peninsula. The Bohai Sea, or Bohai Gulf, is the innermost gulf of the Yellow Sea, on the coast of northeastern and northern China.
