Foreign firms take action after Tunisia civil unrest

London-The civil unrest in Tunisia has prompted a number of international oil and gas operators in the North African country to take action. Austria's OMV said January 17 it has pulled out its expatriate employees from the country because of the ongoing disturbances, though the reduction in staff has not impacted on its production, currently running at around 7,000 b/d of oil equivalent.
