Iran sees gas exports, imports in balance

Dubai-Iran has exported nearly 7 billion cubic meters of gas since the start of the current Iranian year on March 20, a 35% increase so far over the 2009 calendar year, while gas imports have risen by 40% during the same period, oil ministry news agency Shana reported, citing National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) figures. NIGC said January 18 the figures showed the country's gas exports and imports were roughly in balance.
