Sonatrach 憊ery likely' to take BP's Algeria assets

Algiers-Algeria's state-owned Sonatrach is "very likely" to exercise its pre-emption rights over any assets to be sold in the country by BP, Algeria's oil minister Youcef Yousfi said January 17. Speaking at a forum organized by Algerian daily newspaper El Moudjahid, Yousfi said: "Sontrach is very likely to take the BP assets if it decides to sell them."
