DNO reports dry well at onshore Mozambique block

Dubai-Norway's DNO said December 29 that preliminary results for its Chite-1 exploration well on Mozambique's onshore Inhaminga block had detected no hydrocarbon shows. Geological and stratigraphical information from the well, the first ever drilled in the Urema Graben in Mozambique, have been col- lected to further assist in evaluating the hydrocarbon potential in the Inhaminga block, the company added.
