New York-In one of the first price gouging cases related to current severe regional flooding, Kentucky's attorney general has accused Marathon Petroleum Company of illegally raising retail gasoline prices and said it is also referring a bigger investigation into the company's pricing to a federal task force. Marathon May 16 denied the accusations and said the moves are related to a primary election slated for May 17 that includes the AG position.
