Iran prepares to start exporting gasoline

Tehran-Iran intends to offer two or even three gasoline cargoes for export “soon” after raising its domestic production of gasoline and curbing imports, the country's vice president was quoted as saying September 23. “Soon, we will export two ships of gasoline,” the state television's web site quoted Mohammad Reza Rahimi as saying. He added that Iran's recent increase in domestic gasoline production, ordered by the oil ministry in the wake of US sanctions banning the sale of refined products to the country, had curbed imports.
