Baghdad-Iraqi's federal budget for 2010 is being held up in Parliament because of controversy over one of its articles, which threatens the funding of Iraq's Kurdistan region if it prevents oil exports, lawmakers said January 7. The Kurdistan Regional Government halted oil exports in mid-September from the only two exporting fields in the region, little more than three months after they started exports.
