Jakarta-Indonesia's Sengkang LNG project faces possible cancellation after the country's upstream regulator BPMigas rejected the development proposal put forward by the proponent, Australia-based Energy World Corporation, a senior official said January 29. "They proposed to build the terminal, but we rejected it since the development plan is not supported by valid data, including that regarding the gas reserves," said BPMigas Chairman Raden Priyono.
