London-Abu Dhabi's TAQA hopes to increase oil output from its mature asset portfolio in the UK North Sea to a peak of 60,000-65,000 b/d in 2012, the head of the company's UK arm said February 17.At the end of 2008 TAQA Britani, the UK subsidiary, completed the acquisition of a number of producing oil fields from Shell and ExxonMobil, including the Cormorant Alpha, North Cormorant, Tern and Eider platforms.
