Time running out for Norwegian oil fields

Stavanger-Time is running out for some major Norwegian Continental Shelf oil fields due to falling pressure, and they soon could be rendered unprofitable, according to the latest edition of the official Norwegian Petroleum Directorate journal. The magazine, called Norwegian Continental Shelf, said the pressure that drives oil up the well is falling in many of Norway's best reservoirs. Without that natural driving force, the job of the producers becomes much more difficult and in many cases unprofitable. So the Norwegian oil industry is short of time.
