New York-New York Mercantile Exchange July crude oil futures settled $1.89 higher at $99.59/b May 24, supported by the weakening of the US dollar and an upward revision in forecasts of crude prices by Goldman Sachs. NYMEX July crude traded as high as $100.09/b, as the euro made gains against the US dollar and equities firmed. June RBOB settled 5.47 cents higher at $2.9928/gal and June heating oil rose 6.26 cents to settle at $2.9097/gal.
