Bolivia planning $1 billion refinery for Andean region

Quito-Bolivia is planning a $1 billion refinery that would be built in its Andean region between the cities of La Paz and Oruro, stateowned energy company Yacimientos Petroliferos Fiscales Bolivianos announced over the weekend. The new refinery would have capacity to produce 17,000 b/d of diesel, 7,070 b/d of gasoline, and 164 mt/d of LPG, according to YPFB.
