Gazprom refuses more talks on gas price amendments

Moscow-Russia's Gazprom does not plan to renegotiate natural gas prices under recently amended contracts with its major European customers, Gazprom Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said November 8 after the compa- ny reported its second-quarter results. Medvedev said these contracts were rene- gotiated earlier this year for a period of three years, including 2010, so it would not hold further talks on the price customers pay for gas.
