Shell restarting Houston crude pipeline after repairs

Houston-Shell said November 23 it is in the process of restarting the 325,000 b/d Houma-to-Houston crude oil pipeline system following repairs. The line was shut November 16 following a leak. About 1,030 barrels of crude leaked near Vinton, Louisiana, as a result of equip- ment failure, according to the National Response Center.
