Sydney-Australian supermarket operator Woolworths' petroleum retailing operations recorded sales of A$2.78 billion ($2.5 billion) for the 27 weeks to January 3, 2010, down 9.5% from A$3.07 billion in the corresponding period of 2009, on the back of lower fuel prices, the company said February 26.
