Petrobras signs ethanol deal with France’s Tereos

London-Brazil’s Petrobras said October 25 it has signed a Real 2.1 billion ($1.2 billion) ethanol supply contract with Acucar Guarani, part of French sugar and ethanol group Tereos International. Under the terms of the contract, Acucar Guarani will supply Petrobras Distribuidora (BR), the Brazilian company’s distribution business, with up to 2.2 billion liters of ethanol for the next four years.
