Turkish refiner Tupras stops product sales to Iran

Istanbul-Turkish refiner Tupras is no longer selling petroleum products to Iran, the company said August 20, adding that international sanctions against Iran were not impacting its business. “Our current situation is that we are not selling petroleum products to Iran,” Tupras, Turkey’s only refiner, said in an earnings release, not providing any reasons for the sales halt. “For that reason we are not liable to be affected by any type of sanctions,” it said.
