Premier moves up Indonesia West Natuna gas projects

Singapore -UK’s Premier Oil said July 15 it plans to accelerate development of the Naga and Pelikan fields in West Natuna block A in Indonesia’s Natuna Sea by two years in order to meet additional gas demand from Singapore. The company expects to start the Pelikan field in 2013 and the Naga field in 2014. Separately, Premier said the Gajah Baru field, also in West Natuna block A, was 58% complete and production was expected to start up in October 2011.
