Jakarta-South Korean gas giant Kogas may drop plans to buy 1 million mt/year of LNG from Indonesia's Tangguh project that had originally been allocated to US-based Sempra Energy, a senior Indonesian official said January 29."Kogas has seen that South Korea's economy has yet to recover, and so the company is not sure whether its LNG demand is as large as it had originally estimated," said Raden Priyono, chairman of Indonesian upstream regulator BPMigas.
