London-Shell CEO Peter Voser said October 12 his company would have used a different well design to drill BP’s fated Macondo well which blew out in the Gulf of Mexico earlier this year. “From what I know today, Shell clearly would have drilled this well in a different way and we would have had more options to prevent the accident from happening,” Voser told the annual Oil and Money conference in London.
