摘要

Istanbul-Turkey has categorically denied reports it has signed a Eur1 billion ($1.3 billion) deal with Iran for the construction of a pipeline to carry Iranian natural gas through Turkey to Europe. In a written statement issued to the press, Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz denied reports from Iran that any agreement had been signed and added that discussions between the two countries over possible cooperation in development of Iran’s gas reserves had been abandoned.
