London—Italy’s Eni and its partners, including Angola’s state-owned Sonangol, have made two oil discoveries in block 15/06 offshore Angola, Eni said April 7. Eni said the finds from exploration wells Nzanza-1 and Cinguvu-1 confirm the “high potential” of the block, which was awarded to Eni in 2006 as part of an international bid process.
