Sydney-Shell has agreed to sell 10% of Woodside Petroleum for a total of A$3.3 bil- lion ($3.35 billion), reducing its overall share- holding in the Australian company to 24.27% and scotching long-standing speculation that it might have a second takeover tilt at the Perth-based oil and gas producer.
