US brief supports BP Atlantis development fraud case

New York-Just hours before the deadline for filing, the US attorney's office in Houston late December 13 delivered its amicus curiae brief in support of fraud charges brought against BP by a whistle-blower. The plaintiffs in US ex. rel. Kenneth Abbott v. BP contend that the company committed fraud in the permit process for its deepwater Atlantis development in the Gulf of Mexico.
