Nippon Oil mothballs 24,000 b/d CDU at Oita

Tokyo-Japan's largest refiner Nippon Oil has mothballed a 24,000 b/d crude distillation unit at its 160,000 b/d Oita refinery in southwestern Japan, a company official said May 19. The refiner will cut its official refining capacity by 24,000 b/d to 1.293 million b/d by the end of May, the official said.
