Vedanta rules out raising open offer price for Cairn

Mumbai-UK-based Vedanta Resources has ruled out raising its open offer price for Cairn India public shareholders to the price it has agreed to pay its majority owner, Cairn Energy, Chairman Anil Agarwal said October 11. Speaking at a joint press conference with Cairn Energy Chairman Bill Gammell, Agarwal also said he does not expect any major delays in regulatory approval for the deal.
