Singapore LNG terminal to add third tank by 2014

Singapore-Singapore LNG Corporation is plan- ning to add a third storage tank at its Jurong Island LNG import facility by early 2014, a sen- ior SLNG official said November 2. SLNG is currently finalizing the cost and funding details of the third tank, which will take the terminal's throughput capacity from 3.5 million mt/year to 6 million mt/year, Neil McGregor, SLNG's CEO told Platts in an email.
