India's ONGC sees 23% profit gain on subsidy relief

Mumbai-India's state-owned upstream player Oil and Natural Gas Corporation January 21 posted a 23% year-on-year rise in net profit for the October-December quarter to Rupees 30.53 billion ($661 million), helped by lower discounts offered on crude sales to the public sector refiners.
