Japex to join Kyushu satellite LNG venture

Tokyo-Japan Petroleum Exploration Company has agreed to participate in a joint venture with two regional gas utilities that will build a satellite LNG terminal in southern Kyushu by March 2013, a Japex official said August 18. Under the agreement, Japex will form the joint venture with Kyushu Gas and Nihon Gas, also known as Nippon Gas.
