Jakarta-Indonesia’s BPMigas said August 24 that state-owned Korean National Oil Corporation has pulled out from three of the country’s offshore blocks as they are not considered economically feasible. “KNOC has returned the blocks to the government,” the chairman of the upstream regulator, R Priyono, told reporters.
