London-A French contractor working for Austrian oil and gas company OMV has died after being shot by a security guard at the company’s office in the Yemeni capital Sana’a October 6, the company said. OMV said in a statement it regretted the “tragic loss” of the man, who had been working as a procurement officer, and that another contractor, a UK national, was seriously injured in the same incident.
