Shell expands buyer talks for UK, Germany refineries

London—Shell is in talks with other potential buyers for the three European refineries it is selling in addition to ongoing talks with India’s Essar Oil, Shell CFO Simon Henry said April 28. “Negotiations with Essar continue,” Henry told reporters on a quarterly earnings conference call. “While we are hopeful of reaching an agreement on the sale with Essar, we are talking to other potential buyers.”
