Kogas, Pertamina ready to sign short-term LNG deal

Singapore-South Korea's Kogas is currently finalizing an agreement with Indonesia's Pert- amina to buy 40 LNG cargoes, mainly from the Bontang LNG plant in East Kalimantan, over a two-year period, sources told Platts December 1. A source said "it's true" that Kogas would buy 40 cargoes from the Bontang LNG facility through a short-term contract of two years, adding that the framework agreement and general terms and conditions had been final- ized. The final contract has yet to be signed, he added.
