New York-New York Mercantile Exchange November crude oil futures jumped by $2.28 to settle at $81.77/b October 20, boosted by a decline in US distillate stocks, and unwinding the previous day’s loss as the rally in the dollar ended. NYMEX November heating oil rose by 6.55 cents to settle at $2.2548/gal, and November RBOB settled 3.43 cents higher at $2.0826/gal.
