UK's Falkland Oil signs rig deal with Desire

London-UK-based explorer Falkland Oil and Gas Limited has agreed to lease the Ocean Guardian rig from Desire Petroleum and drill a well on the Toroa prospect in the East Falk-lands basin, the company said February 15.The well, the first in the basin, is expected to be drilled in the first half of 2010 as part of a new drilling campaign off the South Atlantic islands, FOGL said.
