CNPC says starts up northeastern China gas pipeline

Shanghai-China National Petroleum Corporation’s Changling-Changchun-Jilin gas pipeline in the country’s northeast began operations October 16, CNPC said October 20. The 221 km pipeline has an annual transmission capacity of 2.3 billion cubic meters and cost CNPC Yuan 1.1 billion ($166.67 million), the company said.
