Sweden’s Lundin boosts Luno reserves by 50%

Copenhagen-Swedish upstream company Lundin Petroleum said October 28 reserves at its Luno field in the Norwegian North Sea have been increased by more than 50% to 149 million barrels of oil equivalent. Lundin said the increase in gross proven and probable reserves at the field offshore Norway followed a re-evaluation of results of the appraisal well 16/1-13 completed in early 2010. The independent reserves auditor Gaffney, Cline and Associates increased the estimated reserves to 136.7 million barrels of oil and 66.4 billion cubic feet of gas.
