Norway’s DNO doubles output after Kurdistan surge

Dubai-Norway’s DNO more than doubled its oil production in June after it arranged shortterm sales of crude to the local market in the northern Iraqi region of Kurdistan as exports remain stalled. DNO said July 27 its production from fields in Kurdistan and Yemen totaled 23,477 b/d last month compared with output of just 11,431 b/d in May. The June figure was made up of 17,145 b/d from the Tawke field in Kurdistan, with 6,332 b/d coming from the company’s Yemen operations.
