Norwegian oil output slips below 2 million b/d in March

Copenhagen—Norway’s oil output fell to 1.916 million b/d in March, down from February’s 2.007 million b/d, but natural gas output rose on the previous month, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said April 22. The oil output was also down 11% on the 2.148 million b/d produced in March 2009, according to NPD figures.
