Enbridge shuts Line 6A after alarms: sources

Houston-Enbridge shut its 670,000 b/d Line 6A crude pipeline November 3, market sources said. Enbridge representatives did not immedi- ately return a request for comment. Line 6A was shut in the morning and expected to be running later in the day, said sources, one of whom works for a refinery which takes crude oil from the line. The sources added that Enbridge was not clear about the reason the line was shut.
