New York-US gasoline demand last week fell by 3.1% year on year to 63.146 million bar- rels, the latest survey by MasterCard Advisors indicated November 2. On a four-week moving average, demand was down a less severe 1.7% from the same period a year earlier, to 63.686 million bar- rels/week, according to the MasterCard Advi- sors SpendingPulse report. Consumption for the week ended October 29 was down 502,000 barrels from the prior week, according to the report.
