BP exits China LPG sector with sale of BP Zhuhai

Singapore-BP is set to sell off the remains of its LPG business in China with its latest deal to sell BP Zhuhai LPG to Thai company Siamgas and Petrochemicals, marking the end of its decade-long presence in the Chinese LPG market. Thailand-listed Siamgas is acquiring Guangdong- based BP Zhuhai LPG from Shine Top International Investment and BP Global Investment, both wholly owned subsidiaries of the oil major, a Siamgas official said October 6.
