London-The expected rise in Iraqi crude oil production over the coming years is not likely to affect oil prices, as the growth will not be as large as Iraq expects, Libya’s top oil official Shokri Ghanem said October 12. Ghanem, who heads Libya’s OPEC delegation, said at the annual Oil and Money conference in London that Iraq’s oil output would only likely reach around 7 million b/d by the middle of this decade.
