PetroChina to build Yunnan products pipeline

Singapore-Chinese state-owned oil giant PetroChina plans to start construction of a 7.7 million mt/year (154,600 b/d) oil products pipeline network in southwest China’s Yunnan province in 2011, a company source told Platts August 20. The network includes three trunk lines that start from Anning city, where PetroChina plans to build a new 10 million mt/year refinery in October 2010.
