Cape Town-The UK's Afren said November 9 that seven, not five, workers were kidnapped November 7 from an oil rig off the Nigerian coast, as Nigeria's main rebel group, the Move ment for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), claimed responsibility for the attack.
